Hindu God Ganesha, a Khmer version. In Cambodia the Khmer people customary call Preah Bhak Ganes or Bhiganes, meaning the obstacles remover. This statue was found in the Phreah Khan Temple of Seam Reap province. This temple was build by King Jayavarman VII to honour his father. It's a 11th Century Angkorian period 'Baphuon" Style sculpture made of sandstone. Its now included in the 'Stories from Stone' exhibition gallery collection at Angkor National Musuem, Seam reap, Cambodia.
கம்போடியாவின் சியாம் ரீப் அங்கோர் தேசிய அருங்காட்சியகத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு விநாயகர் சிற்பம் இது. இச்சிற்பம் கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்ட ப்ரியா கான் கோயில் கி.பி. 11ம் நூற்றாண்டில் மன்னன் 7ம் ஜெயவர்மனால் கட்டப்பட்டது. தனது தந்தைக்குப் பெருமை சேர்க்கும் வகையில் இந்தக் கோயிலை 7ம் ஜெயவர்மன் கட்டினான். கம்போடிய மக்கள் ப்ரியா பாக் கானேஸ் அல்லது பிகானஸ் என்று இதனை அழைக்கின்றனர். பிகானஸ் என்பது க்மேர் மொழியில் தடைகளை நீக்குபவர் என்று பொருள்படும். விநாயகர் வழிபாடு கம்போடியாவில் கி.பி.11ம் நூற்றாண்டில் வழக்கில் இருந்தமையை இது காட்டுகிறது.
